Togbe Afede XIV

Chairman

Mr Togbe Afede, XIV founded Strategic African Securities Ltd., and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Afede served as a Lecturer at the Business school, University of Ghana and Executive Director of Databank financial. Services Ltd. Among his major professional accomplishments, he co-founded Databank Financial Services Ltd and founded Strategic Initiatives Ltd and SAS Investment Management Ltd., among others. He is an Investment Banker with experience spanning over twenty (20) years. He serves as Chairman of strategic initiatives Ltd in Accra. Mr. Afede has been a Director of Pioneer Kitchenware Ghana Limited (Alternatively, Pioneer Kitchenware Limited) since January 2002 and serves as its Chairman of the Board. He served as a Non-Executive Director at Bank of Ghana since April 16, 2009 until June 26, 2013. He serves as a Director of National Theatre of Ghana, Accra Hearts of Oak FC Ltd., SAS Investment Management Ltd and Strategic Initiatives Ltd. He has been a Non Executive Director of Aluworks Ltd. since February 2002. He is currently a member of the President's Economic Advisory Council. Mr. Afede holds an MBA degree in Finance from Yale University in USA and a BSc Administration (Accounting) degree from the University of Ghana. Togbe is also the President of the NHC (National House of Chiefs) and therefore the paramount King of traditional rulers across Ghana, he also was recently re-elected Chairman of the Ghana state bank (NIB) and now sits on the council of the State (serving with the President of Ghana and elected members for Ghana)

Ishmael Yamson

Vice Chairman

Ishmael Yamson is an highly competent business leader and business development professional, with a total of 18 years experience. He combines strong business acumen with exceptional technical and process knowledge, and has a solid track record of delivering business and ICT solutions. Ishmael has a strong entrepreneurial spirit which has seen him build a number of private businesses during the last 17 years. In addition and prior to this, Ishmael worked with a number of sizeable ICT organisations, where he led his teams to deliver commendable results. Highlights include Negotiating and securing a €10m SAP franchise for Ghana, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Gambia to deploy hosted services, executing telecommunications contracts in excess of $1,300,000 in 2007 and secured contracts for a further $5,600,000 over three years and sitting as the current Chairman of WASPAG where he develops and maintains relationships with the NCA (the local regulator), MNOs and the Telecom Chamber.

Rajesh Parmar

Co-Founder & Group CEO

Rajesh is the co-founder of Cloud Africa Ltd. He brings a wealth of hands on experience having previously worked for Reuters and Investis in London for 10 years (Investis the leading corporate communications and investor relations company in the UK for web and mobile services providing online innovations to the London Stock Exchange which works for over 70% of the FTSE 100 companies) before moving to Barcelona to head up business development for NFC and beacon technology company Futurlink, a startup backed by La Caixa, the second largest bank in Spain. Under his guidance Cloud Africa has built up a very strong market reputation in Africa. A mobile and technology visionary and one of the early movers into the African region where he commands great respect from his peers in Africa and innovators looking to enter the market. He brings credibility and most importantly trust and gravitas both at the highest level in the African continent and with vendors and partners across the globe looking to successfully deploy products and services in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Prior to joining Cloud Africa, Manish served various leadership roles in UAE Exchange / Travelex -Finablr owned entities (in Middle East, Europe and UK) as Chief Compliance Officer, Head of Internal Audit, Head of Finance & Remittance Business Development Manager.
